Love, Legacy, and Learning at the Heart of the 2024 Respiratory Care Pinning Ceremony

Rock Valley College (RVC) Trustee Robert “Bob” Trojan knows firsthand the profound impact that respiratory therapists have on their patients. His beloved late wife, Norma, suffered from COPD, and during her time in hospice care, Bob witnessed the dedication and compassion of respiratory therapists who helped improve her quality of life in her final months.

Rock Valley College honored outstanding achievements of its Hispanic students at 4th Annual Hispanic Student Recognition Ceremony on Tuesday, May 14 at the main campus Physical Education Center (PEC). This event stands as a testament to the college's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and academic excellence.

Enhancing the Campus Experience Through Summer Renovations

To continually improve the student experience at RVC, many areas of campus will be under renovation from May 20 – Aug. 14, 2024. The construction will impact some support office locations, building access, and walkways. “I don’t think we will ever forget the smell of the clinic. We conquered all of our fears here,” said Michelle Sanchez, student speaker at the Rock Valley College Dental Hygiene pinning ceremony. This milestone event marked the culmination of hard work and dedication for 15 graduates, each eager to embark on their professional journeys.
